New Twist in Bizarre Robbery Case
A suspect accused of robbing a Plainville video store in 1994, turned himself in to police on Feb. 10. Moses Gooch is accused of helping rob the Video Galaxy store on Farmington Avenue, according to the Hartford Courant. Gooch wanted to move back to Connecticut without fear of arrest, the newspaper reports.
Courthouse Charges Resurface
A mother and daughter team made headlines when they were caught with ammo at the entrance of Superior Court in Waterbury on March 16, 2005. A probation violation could bring the charges back to the forefront, according to the Hartford Courant.
Missing Conn. Girl Found in Maryland
A Maryland man has been arrested after allegedly taking a 14-year-old Connecticut girl across state lines for sexual activity, according to the News Times. The girl was found with Walter Aguilar in Hyattsville, MD on Wednesday, four days after she was reported missing from Norwalk, police said.
Alderman Faces More Charges for Growing Pot
A former city alderman is facing additional drug charges for allegedly growing marijuana at two homes, according to the News Times. Joseph Cassetti, 58, was arrested Friday on charges ranging from drug possession to conspiracy.
