Newlyweds Killed in Montauk Highway Crash to Be Buried in Poland

A funeral Mass is being held for a New York couple killed in a car crash only weeks after they were married in their native Poland.

Grzegorz Osko and Kamila Boriczka Osko were among four people who died in a July 26 crash on Montauk Highway in Copiague, N.Y.

The Lindenhurst couple -- he was 29 and she was 26 -- were married July 11 in Poland. A family friend says that after Monday night's services on Long Island, the couple's remains will be returned to Poland for burial.

The couple were passengers in a car that crossed the center divider and struck a minivan. In addition to the four deaths, several other people were hospitalized.

Police believe speed was a likely factor in the crash, although no charges have been filed.
