James R., of Lindenhurst on February 28, 2009. Beloved husband of Lorraine.
Loving father of Anne Hacker, Brian, Robert, and the late James. Devoted step
father of Kathleen Geiger, Joseph Karolewski, Patricia Donghia, Edwin Murphy,
and Mary Kay Podowski. Cherished grandfather of 20, and great-grandfather of
six. Mr. Campbell was retired from NYPD, Transit Authority, he was also a
dedicated member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lindenhurst Lodge #1421. Reposing
at Lindenhurst Funeral Home Inc. 424 South Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst.
Visiting hours Monday 7-10pm. Tuesday 2-4 and 7-10pm. LOOM services Tuesday
7:30pm.Religious services to follow. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11am at
Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, Lindenhurst. Interment Pinelawn Memorial
Park.
