State Police arrested a 26-year-old Saratoga Springs man on drug possession and assault charges after they found drugs on him during a traffic stop.
Chauncey Schoolfield was pulled over along I-90C/Albany Schoolfield Monday, and was found in possession of crack cocaine, ecstasy pills and marijuana.
Schoolfield resisted arrest while being handcuffed, and slightly injured one of the arresting officers during the scuffle, according to State Police.
Schoolfield has been charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree assault and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
He was arraigned in Albany City Court and sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
