Bullard Mura August 18, 2008 Elizabeth (Bette) Bullard Mura, 91, of Syracuse,
found peace Monday after a long illness. Bette was born in Sterlingville, NY,
(now Fort Drum). She graduated from St. Augustine Academy and moved to Syracuse,
where she worked as a waitress at The Brass Rail, Michael Scott and the Calvary
Club, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed wintering in Florida, parties, vacations,
the casino and her Sunday outings with her good friend, Mary Raymond. Bette
volunteered for Meals on Wheels and did Adorations at St. Daniel's Church. She
was predeceased by her husband, Frank Mura, in 1993. Survivors: Two daughters,
Marcia (David) Bacon and Colleen (Chip) Krupa, both of Syracuse; a son, Thomas
(Sue) Mura of NJ; and a stepson, Richard (Joann) Mura, of Syracuse; two sisters,
Patricia Sokolowski of Syracuse, and Ruth (Andrew) Kopas of OH; a sister-in-law,
Amy Mura; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Daniel's Church. Interment: White
Chapel Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Contributions: The
