Sophie, 98, of White Plains, NY died peacefully on July 9, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Nathan. Cherished mother of Stuart and Rhona (Ronald Noll). Doting grandmother of Dr. Rachel Noll (Jeremy Bastacky) and Robert Noll. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Ray Lertzman, and sisters Ida Lertzman and Katy Rosenthal (Buddy). Loved and respected by all who knew her. Shiva will be observed at the Noll home in New York. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 12 at 11am in the Wellwood Cemetery, Pinelawn, Farmingdale, NY.

Joseph Francis Ecclesine, pater extraordinaire, also known as "Mr. Wonderful,"
died May 8, 2009, in Plattsburgh, N.Y.; he was 70.
Mr. Ecclesine was born
in White Plains, N.Y., and was a lifelong Westchester County resident before
retiring to Essex, N.Y. He graduated from the University of Vermont and was a
lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He had a long illustrious insurance
career and was a Chartered Life Underwriter with Northwestern Mutual Life.He was
also a former president of the Westchester Estate Planning Council and a former
board member of both the Westchester Putnam Council of the Boy Scouts of America
and St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains.Most recently, he was a proud member of
the DNC in Essex, N.Y. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for bird
hunting and fly fishing.
Beloved husband of Maureen for 47 years;
devoted father of Kevin of Wellesley, Mass.,Meghan of Portsmouth, N.H., Dorren
of Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Peggyanne of Dorchester, Mass.; father-in-law of Joanne
Queally, Peter Harris and Sean McDermott;adored and entertaining grandfather of
Shane, Brendan, Dillon, Mary Claire, Max, Evan, Lily, Maureen, Patrick and
Duncan;brother of Kevin, Patricia Voute, Mary Pleasanton and George. He was an
inspiration to all of us. We will miss him dearly.
A memorial service is
planned for June 12, 2009, in Essex, N.Y.

Mitchell Boner
BONER--Mitchell, of White Plains, NY, 94, passed away from natural causes on April 14, 2009. He is survived by Eleanor, his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, his son Larry Bonner of Delray Beach, FL, his daughter Ethel Tankenson of Los Angeles, CA, his cherished grandson, Alex Bonner of New York NY, his daughter-in-law Stephanie Bonner and son-in-law Mike Tankenson. Mitchell was born in Riga, Latvia January 8, 1915. He emigrated to the United States at the age of 22. He was a self-made businessman and entrepreneur who founded one of the pre-eminent jewelry manufacturing companies in New York City.
