Scott, Patricia Helene, of Anaheim, Ca. (formally of Fullerton), passed
away August 7, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family. Patricia was born
April 20, 1940 to E. Chester Hart and J. Beatrice (Casey). She married her
childhood sweetheart, Kenneth L. Scott in 1957 and they celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary this past September. "Mama" was the strength of our family.
She was involved in PTA, Girl Scouts and ran our softball snack bar. She was
there for us when we brought our new babies home from the hospital. She loved
her grandkids and loved spending time with them. She always made the birthday
bbq's at the family home in Fullerton very special. She taught us that life was
about being together and being grateful for the family and closeness we all had.
Holidays were the best, as "Santa" left; grandma would sprinkle the magic dust
that made the stockings magically fill with goodies. Teaching us and loving us
is what she did best. She never missed a chance to see the grandkids'
performances or sport games. She made the best scrambled eggs, chili and her
much loved potato salad. Family was everything to her. She was always there when
you needed her. Our dad passed away in March after his 2 year battle with
cancer. Our mom was ill for a long time but went undiagnosed. Three months after
our father's death she was told she had the same cancer. She saw that as fitting
and said, "We were soul mates. Why shouldn't we both have the same cancer and
the same time and go together?" But she helped my father through his and then
(and only then) did she give in to her disease. Mama will always be remembered
as the heart and soul of our family. Her gentle and loving smile will forever be
in our hearts. She is survived by her daughter, Gwen and son-in-law, Bill Tucker
of Yorba Linda; daughter, Pam and son-in-law, Joe Natsuhara of Anaheim Hills;
grandchildren, Jennifer and Brian Tucker and Scott and Amanda Natsuhara;
sister-in-law, Pat Hart and brother-in-law, Bill Fogg; two nieces and two
nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne Fogg and brother,
Maynard Hart. She is now forever with her soul mate and together they are in
eternal peace with our Lord. Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 12, 6-8pm,
McAulay Wallace, 902 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, Ca. Services, Wednesday, August
13, 11:00am, McAulay & Wallace. Burial to follow at Loma Vista Memorial
Park, 701 E. Bastanchury Rd., Fullerton, Ca. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary
