Betty Simons celebrates her centennial Print E-mail
simons.jpg Poland-born Betty Simons of Atria Burlingame will celebrate her 100th birthday Sept. 12.

Her family moved to London when she was a baby. She grew up there, married and raised a family before moving to San Francisco in 1970. She is the mother of Nina Zentner and Martin Samuel, grandmother of four and great-grandmother of eight. Her fellow residents report she has a wicked sense of humor.
