Elsie Carr Nichols May 12, 1907 - May 29, 2008 Born in Alvarado, Alameda County, CA. Resided in San Francisco and Daly City most of her life. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Nichols; survived by her loving sister Bette Carpenter, and loving nieces and nephews, Carolyn Duffy Cassidy, John Duffy, Bill Cassidy, Robert, Kevin, Kelli and Ryan McCormack, David, Linda, Rachel and Molly Carpenter, Susan and Bill Doron. Elsie will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Elsie loved to spend time with her family and friends, loved to play bridge, travel and read. We have wonderful memories of her wit and quiet elegance that we will treasure always. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 21, 2008, 11:00am at the Colonial Chapel of Crosby N. Gray at 2 Park Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
