Mary Angelina Rooney, born Jan. 4, 1912, died peacefully at home Oct. 1, 2008.
She was the beloved wife of the late John William Rooney, loving sister of the late Joseph Guardino and Antoinette Fesinmeyer, loving mother of john Joseph Rooney (Elaine) and Richard William Rooney (Donna). She was the grandmother of John, Kelly, Richard, Stephanie and Christina. She was also the grandmother of Taylor, Drew, Brooke, Allanah, Ricky, Audrey, Emma and Quinn. She is also survived by her niece, nephews and cherished friends. She was a native of San Francisco.
Friends are invited to celebrate a funeral mass at St. Catherine of Siena, 1310 Bayswater Ave., in Burlingame 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9.
Committal s at Italian Cemetery in Colma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to to Sisters of the Holy Family, P.O. Box 3248, Fremont, CA 94539.
