Soliciting Without a Permit - Cristo Rey Drive and Maryknoll Court
At 6:45 PM on 3/20, deputies responded to a call of a person
soliciting at Cristo Rey Drive and Maryknoll Court. Subsequent
investigation revealed the suspect was soliciting without a permit.
The suspect was cited and released.
Commercial Burglary - Homestead Road
At 4:58 AM on 3/23, deputies responded to an alarm at Union 76 Gas
Station on Homestead Road. Subsequent investigation revealed unknown
suspect(s) took cash and cigarettes for a total value of about $350.
Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road and Homestead Court
Between 8:30 AM on 3/22 and 10:30 AM, unknown suspect(s) pried open
the passenger side door and unlocked the vehicle parked at Homestead
Road and Homestead Court. The suspect(s) took a garage door opener
for a total value of about $50.
Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road
Between 9:45 PM on 3/22 and 12:00 PM, unknown suspect(s) broke the
rear passenger side window parked on Homestead Road. The suspect(s)
took a GPS unit and a pair of gloves for a total value of about $335.
Overweight Commercial Truck/Vehicle Not Properly Equipped/Load Not
Covered - De Anza Boulevard and Highway 280
At 11:20 AM on 3/19, deputies stopped a motorist at De Anza Boulevard
and Freeway 280 for a traffic violation. Subsequent investigation
resulted in the citation of the driver for an overweight truck,
improperly equipped vehicle, and load not covered.
Petty Theft - Homestead Road
Between 8:00 PM on 3/16 and 3:00 PM on 3/17, unknown suspect(s)
entered an unlocked parked vehicle in the 22000 block of Homestead
Road. The suspect(s) took a calculator and money with a total value
of about $162.
Credit Card Theft - Homestead Road
At 2:00 AM on 3/22, unknown suspect(s) stole the victim's wallet at
Homestead Lanes on Homestead Road and used the victim's credit card
in an unknown location. The total loss was $150.
Armed Robbery - Homestead Road
At 10:17 AM on 3/23, suspect used a pistol and demanded money from
the victim at the 7-11 store on Homestead Road. The suspect was
arrested and booked into Main Jail.
Vehicle Burglary - Wolfe Road
Between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM on 3/18, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the rear driver's window of a vehicle parked at Cupertino Village on
Wolfe Road. The suspect(s) took a laptop bag containing a laptop and
phone accessories from the vehicle for a total value of about $1320.
Vehicle Burglary - Valley Green Drive
Between 7:00 PM on 3/18 and 8:05 AM, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the front driver's window of a vehicle parked in the 20000 block of
Valley Green Drive. The suspect(s) took a GPS unit and a radar
detector from the vehicle for a total value of about $430.
Vehicle Burglary - Wolfe Road
Between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM on 3/19, unknown suspect(s) broke
through the rear driver's window of a vehicle parked at Cupertino
Square on Wolfe Road. The suspect(s) took a laptop bag containing a
laptop, wallet, cash, cell phone and a passport from the vehicle for
a total value of about $1850.
Vehicle Burglary - Wolfe Road
Between 12:30 PM and 10:50 PM on 3/22, unknown suspect(s) pried open
the driver's side window and unlocked the vehicle parked at Cupertino
Square on Wolfe Road. The suspect(s) took the vehicle's stereo and a
radar detector for a total value of about $350.
Criminal Threats/Trespassing - Elderwood Court
At 6:30 PM on 3/23, the suspect entered the victim's property and
threatened to kill him on Elderwood Court. The suspect is still at
large.
Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM on 3/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked at Fontana's Restaurant
on Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect(s) took a purse that
contained credit cards from the vehicle for a total value of about
$300.
Possession of Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia - De Anza
Boulevard
At 1:32 AM 0n 3/22, deputies responded to a call of a person locked
in the bathroom at Chevron on De Anza Boulevard. Subsequent
investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of a controlled
substance and paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and booked into
Main Jail.
Vehicle Burglary - De Anza Boulevard
Between 3:35 PM and 4:10 PM on 3/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the front passenger window of a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of
De Anza Boulevard. The suspect(s) took a purse that contained cash, a
cell phone and credit cards from the vehicle for a total value of
about $130.
Grand Theft - Miller Avenue
Between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM on 3/17, unknown suspect(s) took a weight
bench and the weights from the front porch of an apartment on the
10000 block of Miller Avenue. The total value of the loss was about
$500.
Vehicle Burglary - Richwood Drive
Between 8:00 PM and 7:30 PM on 3/17, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the front driver's window of a vehicle parked at Miller Avenue and
Richwood Drive. The suspect(s) took a laptop bag containing a laptop,
cash, driver's license and credit cards from the vehicle for a total
value of about $2713.
Stolen Vehicle - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM on 3/20, unknown suspect(s) stole the
victim's vehicle while it was parked at Symantec on Stevens Creek
Boulevard.
Prowling - Calle de Barcelona and Miller Avenue
At 3:28 AM on 3/23, deputies responded to a call of a prowler at
Calle de Barcelona and Miller Avenue. Subsequent investigation
revealed suspect was prowling. The suspect was cited and released.
