Mail Theft - Santa Clara Avenue
Between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM on 1/19, the unknown suspect took mail from
the mailbox of a residence in the 10000 block of Santa Clara Avenue for
a total loss of about $137.
(ARREST)Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance/Probation
Violation - De Anza Boulevard and Highway 280
At 5:54 AM On 1/27, deputies made contact with a subject at De Anza
Boulevard and Highway 280. Investigation revealed the driver was under
the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect was arrested and
booked into Main Jail.
Petty Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 5/1/2011 and 1/27/2011, unknown suspect(s) took both license
plates from a vehicle parked in the 22000 block of Stevens Creek
Boulevard for an unknown amount of loss.

(ARREST)Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale - Flora Vista
Avenue
At 10:43 PM on 1/23, deputies made contact with a subject at a residence
in the 10000 block of Flora Vista Avenue. Investigation revealed the
subject was in possession of a controlled substance for sale. The
suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.
Attempted Grand Theft - Parkwood Drive
Between 11:00 PM on 1/23 and 5:30 AM on 1/24, unknown suspect(s) used a
hydraulic jack to lift a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Parkwood
Drive in an attempt to steel the tires and rims. The suspect(s) fled
when the car alarm activated.
Petty Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At about 12:00 PM on 1/29, the unknown suspect(s) took an unattended
purse from a shopping cart at Whole Foods on Stevens Creek Boulevard.
The total loss was about $230.

(ARREST)Evading a Peace Officer/Probation Violation - De Anza Boulevard
and Valley Green Drive
At 1:22 AM on 1/23, deputies attempted to stop a motorist at De Anza
Boulevard and Valley Green Drive for a traffic violation. The motorist
evaded the deputies then jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
Deputies located the suspect a short time later. Investigation revealed
the suspect was in violation of his probation. The suspect was arrested
and booked into Main Jail.

Anza Boulevard and Homestead Road
At 11:10 PM on 1/23, deputies stopped a motorist at De Anza Boulevard
and Homestead Road for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the
driver was in possession of a controlled substance and in violation of
probation. The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.
(ARREST)Possession of a Controlled Substance and Marijuana - Homestead
Road and De Anza Boulevard
At 12:03 AM on 1/27, deputies stopped a motorist at Homestead Road and
De Anza Boulevard for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the
driver was in possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. The
suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Residential Burglary - Terrace Drive
Between 10:30 PM on 1/23 and 5:00 AM on 1/24, unknown suspect(s) entered
an open garage of a residence in the 21000 block of Terrace Drive and
took twelve bottles of beer for a total loss of about $10.
Vandalism - Conradia Court
Between 9:00 PM on 1/23 and 6:00 PM on 1/24, unknown suspect(s) broke
the passenger side window of a vehicle parked on the 21000 block of
Conradia Court. Total amount of damage is unknown.
Residential Burglary - Rainbow Drive
Between 2:00 PM on 1/26 and 2:30 PM on 1/27, unknown suspect(s) entered
two carport storage units of a residence in the 7000 block of Rainbow
Drive by prying open the door. The suspect(s) rummaged through the
storage units but nothing was taken.
Vehicle Burglary - Wilkinson Avenue
Between 10:30 AM on 12/15/2011 and 3:30 AM on 1/28/2012, unknown
suspect(s) broke through the passenger side window of a vehicle parked
at a residence in the 11000 block of Wilkinson Avenue. The suspect(s)
took miscellaneous paperwork for an unknown total loss.

(ARREST)False Registration - De Anza Boulevard and Stevens Creek
Boulevard
At 12:50 PM on 1/23, deputies stopped a motorist at De Anza Boulevard
and Stevens Creek Boulevard. Investigation revealed the vehicle
displayed false registration. The suspect was cited and released.

Vandalism - Menhart Lane
Between 2:00 PM and 3:45 PM on 1/25, unknown suspect(s) broke the rear
hatchback window of a vehicle parked on the 10000 block of Menhart Lane.
Total amount of damage was about $500.
(ARREST)Minor In Possession of Alcohol - Finch Avenue
At 10:37 PM on 1/25, deputies made contact with the occupants of a
vehicle parked at Cupertino High School on Finch Avenue. Investigation
revealed the occupants were minors in possession of alcohol. Both
suspects were cited and released.
Identity Theft - City of Cupertino
Between 5/1/2011 and 12/31/2011, unknown suspect(s) used the
victim's personal information to open a credit account with an
online retailer for a total loss of about $442. The victim lives in
Cupertino.
Forgery - De Anza Boulevard
At about 1:00 PM on 1/17, unknown suspect(s) attempted to send a package
of fraudulent checks using a fraudulent shipping code at the FedEx on De
Anza Boulevard for an unknown total loss.
Residential Burglary - Tantau Avenue
Between 9:45 AM and 9:50 AM on 1/26, unknown suspect(s) entered an open
garage of a residence in the 800 block of Tantau Avenue and took a
mountain bike for a total loss of about $700.
Residential Burglary/Vandalism - Price Avenue
Between 3:00 PM on 1/21 and 11:15 AM on 1/26, unknown suspect(s) entered
a residence under construction in the 19000 block of Price Avenue by
forcing open a side garage door. The suspect(s) entered the residence
but did not take anything. Total amount of damage was about $4000.
