Check Fraud - City of Cupertino
Between 7/4 and 7/10, unknown suspect(s) wrote two checks in the name of
the victim in an unknown location for a total loss of about $935. The
victim lives in Cupertino.

(ARREST)Alter Imitation Firearm - Madera Drive
At 7:30 PM on 7/8, deputies responded to a call of suspicious persons in
the 10000 block of Madera Drive. Subsequent investigation revealed a
subject with two imitation firearms that were made to look real by
removing the orange tips. The suspect was cited and released.

(ARREST)Commercial Burglary - Homestead Road
At 11:26 AM on 7/7, two suspects took about $202 worth of store items
from Rite Aid on Homestead Road. Deputies stopped the suspects. The
suspects were arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vehicle Burglary - Parkwood Drive
Between 6:00 PM on 7/6 and 12:00 PM on 7/7, unknown suspect(s) broke
through the driver's side window of a vehicle parked in the 10000
block of Parkwood Drive. The suspect(s) took a GPS unit for a total loss
of about $200.

Vehicle Burglary - Valley Green Drive
Between 6:00 PM on 7/5 and 3:05 PM on 7/7, unknown suspect(s) broke
through the driver's side window of a vehicle parked in the 20000
block of Valley Green Drive. The suspect(s) took a GPS unit and music
player for a total loss of about $330.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 11:00 AM on 7/8, deputies stopped a suspicious person in front of
Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard. Deputies released the suspect.
Subsequent investigation revealed the suspect took about $100 worth of
store items from Target. The suspect is at large.

Vehicle Burglary - Bandley Avenue
Between 7:50 PM and 8:05 PM on 7/8, unknown suspect(s) broke through the
driver's side window of a vehicle parked at Fatima Restaurant on
Bandley Avenue. The suspect(s) took a briefcase with assorted currency,
credit cards and a camera for a total loss of about $900.

(ARREST)Misuse of a Disabled Person's Placard / Unlicensed Driver -
Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 10:15 AM on 7/9, deputies contacted the driver of a vehicle at Whole
Foods on Stevens Creek Boulevard. Subsequent investigation revealed the
driver parked in a disabled parking space using a disabled placard
without being or transporting a disabled person and was unlicensed. The
suspect was cited and released.

Commercial Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 6/24 and 7/7, the suspect took about $717 worth of store items
from Target on Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect fled and is at
large.

(ARREST)Curfew Violation/minor in Possession of
Alcohol/Marijuana/Tobacco - Homestead Road and Stelling Road
At 3:00 AM on 7/12, deputies stopped a motorist at Homestead Road and
Stelling Road for a traffic violation. Subsequent investigation revealed
the driver and passenger were minors in violation of curfew and in
possession of alcohol, Marijuana and tobacco. The suspects were cited
and released.

Arrest Warrant Issued
On 6/26/09, Detectives arrested a 29 Year old male security guard for
stealing new iPhones, iPods and laptops from Apple Computer. During
their investigation, detectives determined that there was another
suspect involved and the District Attorney has now issued an arrest
warrant for a 26 year old Fremont man for possession of stolen property.

(ARREST)Commercial Burglary - Infinite Loop
At 2:30 PM on 7/6, the suspect took about $775 worth of store items from
the Apple Store on Infinite Loop. Apple Loss Prevention stopped the
suspect. The suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vandalism - Prunetree Lane
Between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM on 7/8, unknown suspect(s) broke the rear
window to a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Prunetree Lane. The
total amount of damage was about $400.

Petty/Credit Card Theft - Homestead Road
Between 6:10 PM and 6:50 PM on 7/6, unknown suspect(s) took a purse from
an unlocked desk and office at Kaiser Permanente on Homestead Road. The
purse contained credit cards and currency worth about $110. The
suspect(s) used a credit card at the Apple store in San Mateo for about
$2512.

Vehicle Burglary - Ridgeview Court
Between 9:10 AM and 7:50 PM on 7/7, unknown suspect(s) broke through the
driver's side window of a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of
Ridgeview Court. The suspect(s) took a GPS unit for a total loss of
about $200.

Petty Theft - Wolfe Road
Between 4:00 PM and 6:45 PM on 7/11, unknown suspect(s) entered an
unlocked vehicle parked at Vallco Square on Wolfe Road. The suspect(s)
took a wallet and camera for a total loss of about $100.

Vehicle Burglary - Merriman Avenue
Between 6:30 PM on 7/10 and 9:00 AM on 7/11, unknown suspect(s) entered
a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Merriman Avenue through a
partially open window. The suspect(s) took the vehicle's stereo and
an iPod for a total loss of about $450.

Residential Burglary/Stolen Vehicle - Garden Lane
Between 8:30 AM on 6/15 and 10:22 AM on 7/6, unknown suspect(s) broke
into a residence in the 1400 block of rose Garden Lane by prying open a
side garage door. The suspect(s) took a laptop, cell phone, assorted
jewelry, a game console and two televisions for a total loss of about
$4150. The suspect(s) stole a vehicle parked in the garage worth about
$12000.

Vandalism - Orange Avenue
Between 4:30 PM on 7/7 and 7:30 AM on 7/8, unknown suspect(s) shattered
two glass windows to an office at a construction site in the 10000 block
of Orange Avenue. The total amount of damage was about $2500.

Vandalism - Linda Vista Drive
Between 10:00 PM on 7/10 and 10:00 AM on 7/11, unknown suspect(s) broke
the rear window of a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Linda Vista
Drive. The total amount of damage was about $500.

Grand Theft - Bianchi Way
At 1:00 AM on 7/7, the suspect took a laptop from the victim at a
residence in the 10000 block of Bianchi Way. The suspect fled and is at
large. The laptop was worth about $1000.

(ARREST)In a Park After Hours/Resist or Delay a Peace Officer/Minor in
Possession of Alcohol - Jollyman Park
At 11:10 PM on 7/11, deputies stopped six subjects for being at Jollyman
Park on Jollyman Lane while it was closed. Two subjects fled but were
later found nearby. Subsequent investigation revealed the two subjects
were minors in possession of alcohol. The suspects were cited and
released.

Vandalism - Sterling Boulevard
Between 1:30 PM on 7/2 and 11:00 AM on 7/6, unknown suspect(s) pried
open a side door to a vacant residence in the 10000 block of Sterling
Boulevard. The total amount of damage was about $200. Nothing was taken
from the residence.

Stolen Vehicle - Willowbrook Way
Between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on 7/6, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle
parked in the 10000 block of Willowbrook Way. The vehicle had an unknown
value.

Residential Burglary - Farallone Drive
Between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM on 7/6, unknown suspect(s) entered a
residence in the 10000 block of Farallone Drive through an open window.
The suspect(s) took three cameras, two laptops, a PDA and assorted
jewelry for a total loss of about $4550.

Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 9:00 PM on 7/6 and 8:00 AM on 7/7, unknown suspect(s) broke
through the driver's side window of a vehicle parked in the 20000
block of Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect(s) took the vehicle's
stereo and a meter reader for a total loss of about $550.

Vehicle Burglary - Rosemarie Place
Between 12:00 AM and 10:30 AM on 7/7, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the passenger side window of a vehicle parked in the 19000 block of
Rosemarie Place. The suspect(s) took a laptop for a total loss of about
$2000.

Grand Theft - Chelmsford Drive
Between 6:00 PM and 11:59 PM on 7/4, unknown suspect(s) entered an
unlocked vehicle parked in the 18000 block of Chelmsford Drive. The
suspect(s) took two wallets, an iPod, and a camera for a total loss of
about $890.

Identity Theft / Forgery - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 10:30 AM on 6/5, the suspect attempted to pass a counterfeit check
using the victim's personal information at Chase Bank on Stevens
Creek Boulevard. The teller checked the account and the suspect fled.
The suspect is at large.

Credit Card Theft - City of Cupertino
On 7/5, unknown suspect(s) used the victim's credit card to make a
withdrawal in Northridge for a total loss of about $508. The victim
lives in Cupertino.

Grand Theft/Vehicle Tampering - Brent Drive
Between 8:00 AM on 6/13 and 12:00 PM on 7/8, unknown suspect(s) took the
catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Brent
Drive. The total amount of loss was about $700.

(ARREST)Unlicensed Driver - Lawrence Expressway and Mitty Way
At 11:00 PM on 7/8, deputies stopped a motorist at Lawrence Expressway
and Mitty Way for a traffic violation. Subsequent investigation revealed
the driver was unlicensed and had a warrant. The suspect was arrested
and booked into Main Jail.

(ARREST) Obtain Controlled Substance by Fraud/Commercial
Burglary/Possession of Marijuana - Bollinger Road
At 7:45 PM on 7/10, two suspects attempted to obtain a controlled
substance by fraud at Walgreens Pharmacy on Bollinger Road. Deputies
stopped one suspect and the other suspect fled. Subsequent investigation
revealed the suspect was in possession of Marijuana. The suspect was
arrested and booked into main Jail.
