Carmelo D'Aura Of Cupertino passed away peacefully October 25,
2009. Charlie now joins his parents, Mario D'Aura and Maria Lodato and siblings,
Salvatore, Giuseppi, Artemio and Maria. Zio Carmelino loved by numerous nieces
and nephews. He will be missed by many friends at Starbucks, neighbors and
parishioners of St. Joseph of Cupertino. An Army Veteran of WWII assigned to the
USS Hope Hospital Ship. Retired as a Varitypist from Southern Pacific Railroad.
A native of Tunis, Tunisia, age 95. A special thank you to his caretakers,
doctors and nurses. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Thursday, October 29 at St. Joseph of
Cupertino, 10110 N. De Anza Blvd., Cupertino. Interment to follow at Gate of
Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos, CA. Alameda Family Funeral Saratoga serving the
family.
