Gordon Goodrich
Resident of Cupertino
81, passed away at home with family by his side.
Gordon
was born in Rosebud, SD in 1930, served in the United States Air Force
from 1949 1953 before gaining a degree from South Dakota State
University in 1957 where he met his wife, Dierdre. They moved the family
to Cupertino in 1967 where he worked at HP.
He and his wife
enjoyed going on cruises and attending high school and college sports.
He attended practically every Monta Vista High School football game from
1971-1983 and is still a Stanford Cardinal season ticket holder. His
other hobbies included flying RC planes and following the stock market.
Gordon
is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dierdre; children, Cindy, Sandra,
and Glenn; grandchildren, Michelle, Kristine, Tim, Nicholas, Cory,
Courtney, and Jackson; brother, Leland. He was preceded in death by his
parents George Lewis and Eva Marie; brother, Charles; and sister, Betty.
A
memorial service celebrating Gordon's life will be held on November
23rd at 1:30pm at Lima & Campagna Mortuary at 1315 Hollenbeck
Avenue, Sunnyvale. A private interment will be held immediately
following at Gates of Heaven cemetery in Los Altos. Memorial donations
