Dorothy Neinast was born August 30, 1918 in Montesano, WA. She passed away at the age of 89 in Snohomish, WA, on July 14, 2008. She married Ray V. Neinast on April 2, 1939 in Montesano. They moved to Cupertino, CA, 15 years later.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Linda A. McGowan; two granddaughters, Kristina (Jeffrey) Lampert, and Katherine (Andrew) Hanke; and sister, Ruth Hammock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray V. Neinast; son-in-law, Paul J. McGowan; three brothers; and three sisters.
Dorothy worked as the Office Manager at Brown and Kauffman in Palo Alto, CA for 25 years before retiring to move to Snohomish to be with her family.
Dorothy was an active member of the Snohomish United Methodist Church, the Snohomish Senior Center and Eastern Star. Dorothy also loved to travel, play bridge and garden.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2008, at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen, WA.
