Stanley M. Furtado Born 10/2/38 in Honolulu, HI. Passed away on 8/30/08 in San Jose with his loving family and friends by his side. He's survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Charlene, two daughters Cathy Furtado of San Jose and Tricia Earley of Cupertino, son in-law John Earley, his beloved grandson Ian Earley, brothers Howard of Maui and Ben of Penn Valley and their spouses in addition to many nieces and nephews and in-laws. Preceded in passing by his sisters Dorothy and Gloria and his brother John. He worked at C.C.A. for 42 years as a maintenance mechanic/ foreman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson watching him grow into a young man. Favorite hobbies were drag racing, golfing, restoring classic cars and car shows. Stan enjoyed traveling with family and friends. He touched many hearts over the years and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed. Viewing at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose on Friday, Sept. 5th from 5 - 9 pm and Saturday Sept. 6th from 2 - 3 pm. Memorial service at Oak Hill to be held Saturday, Sept. 6th at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society and/or American Diabetes Association.
