Robert A Watson, Resident of
Chiloquin, Oregon, passed away on August 14th after beating cancer, but lost
the war of life. He died peacefully on his ranch in Oregon surrounded by his
ex-wife, Michelle and his children. Bob, as he was known to all, was born in
Ceres, CA on November 14, 1933. Bob, joined the US Army when he was only 14 and
came home when his mother found out he was in Japan recovering from an injury
from fighting in the Korean War and wrote a letter to the US Army asking if
Bobby could come home. After his brief military service, Bob had many
entrepreneurial interests and passions Bob loved camping, the mountains,
racing, boats, traveling and he enjoyed life. He worked as a building inspector
for 3 years, married for the first time in 1953 and had two children, Duane and
Cherylin “Cece” Watson. He then bought Lee’s Auto Supply of Alameda on park
street back in 1964 and worked there until he retired selling the business to
his son Duane.
He is survived by several of his ex
wife’s; Alicia, Michelle, Loris and Jet, his son Duane and his wife Chris, his
daughter Cece and her husband Steve Heimans, his dogs Two Bits and Rasper and
his grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael & Jason. There will be a celebration
gathering on January 21st between the hours of 1:00pm and 3:30pm at the home of
his daughter Cherylin Heimans and son-in-law Steve Heimans. Please call
