GPS holders in view if you are not with your vehicle. Sunglasses, MP3
players, back packs, etc...need to be out of sight. REMEMBER TO LOCK
YOUR VEHICLES, and be mindful of where you are parking your vehicle.

Proof of Registration Fraud - Foothill Boulevard and Highway 280
At 4:19 PM on 2/16, deputies stopped a motorist near Foothill
Boulevard and Highway 280 for a mechanical violation. Further
investigation revealed that the motorist had a fraudulent
registration tab displayed on his vehicle. The motorist was cited and
released.

Petty Theft/Credit Card Fraud - Homestead Road
Between 12:00 PM on 2/10 and 7:15 AM on 2/11, unknown suspect(s) took
a wallet and credit cards from an unlocked vehicle that was parked at
an apartment complex on Homestead Road. The suspect(s) also used the
credit cards to make approximately $600 in unauthorized purchases.
DUI - Stevens Creek Boulevard and Bandley Avenue
At 3:39 AM on 2/16, deputies responded to a parking lot near Stevens
Creek Boulevard and Bandley Avenue on report of a motorist who was
passed out in their parked vehicle. Further investigation revealed
that the motorist had been driving under the influence of alcohol.
The motorist was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Vandalism - Stevens Creek Boulevard
On 2/12, at 12:15 PM, a suspect put glue into the card reader at
Vaquero gas station on Stevens Creek Boulevard. The Vaquero gas
station owner followed the suspect whom was contacted by the
Deputies. The total cost of the vandalism was about $20. The suspect
was cited and released at the scene.
Vehicle Tampering/Recovered License Plates - Parish Lane
Between 2/06 and 2/16, unknown suspect(s) removed both front and rear
license plates off of a vehicle that was parked on Parish Lane and
replaced them with license plates that had previously been stolen
from another location in Cupertino. Deputies removed the plates from
the vehicle and booked them into evidence.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Grand Theft - Homestead Road
Between 1:30 AM and 6:00 PM on 2/16, a vehicle was stolen from a
Chevron gas station on Homestead Road. The vehicle was later
recovered. Upon recovery the vehicle's owner saw that their laptop,
computer software and access cards had been taken from the vehicle.
One of the suspects was interviewed and released. The second suspect
remains at large.

Vehicle Burglary - Homestead Road
On 2/07, between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through the driver side door of a vehicle that was parked on
Homestead Road and took a GPS device and satellite receiver from
inside the vehicle. The taken items had a total approximate value of
$600.
Vehicle Burglary - North Wolfe Road
Between 4:45 PM and 6:50 PM on 2/14, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through a passenger side window on a vehicle that was parked at TGI
Friday's and took a GPS Device that had an approximate value of $225.
Vehicle Burglary - North Wolfe Road
Between 7:30 PM and 9:19 PM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through a driver side window on a vehicle that was parked near Sears
on Wolfe Road and took a GPS Device. The GPS Device had a value of
approximately $400.
Vehicle Burglary - North Wolfe Road
Between 1:15 PM and 9:00 PM on 2/16, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through the front driver side window of a vehicle that was parked in
the Sears parking lot on Wolfe Road and took a GPS device from the
vehicle. The GPS device had an approximate value of $500.

Possession of Stolen Property - Imperial Avenue
On 2/13, unknown suspect(s) stole a laptop from the victim's vehicle
while it was parked in San Francisco. On 2/15, an unknown suspect
brought the laptop into a computer repair store on Imperial Avenue.
The repair store employee discovered the laptop had been stolen and
notified the victim. All suspect(s) remain at large.

Residential Burglary - Bollinger Road
On 2/13 between 11:15 AM and 1:30 PM, unknown suspect(s) entered a
residence on Bollinger Road through an unlocked side door and took
miscellaneous household items that had a total value of approximately
$850.

Vehicle Burglary - Myrtlewood Drive
Between 12:10 AM and 12:20 AM on 2/11, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through the front passenger window of a vehicle that was parked on
Myrtlewood Drive and took an XM satellite radio. The radio had an
approximate value of $129.
Vehicle Burglary - Cottonwood Drive
Between 2/08 and 2/11, unknown suspect(s) smashed through a window on
a vehicle that was parked on Cottonwood Drive. The suspect(s) did not
take any items from the vehicle.
Vehicle Burglary - Miller Avenue
Between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM on 2/12, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through the front passenger side window of a vehicle that was parked
in a parking lot on Miller Avenue. The suspect(s) took a purse which
contained several credit cards, a California driver's license, a
checkbook and about $300 in cash. Also stolen was a gym bag with an I-
Pod, CD Player, and gym clothes, the total value of the loss was
approximately $1,140.
Vandalism - Brookgrove Lane
Between 10:00 PM on 2/14 and 8:30 AM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s)
threw eggs at a vehicle that was parked on Brookgrove Lane. The
amount of the damage was estimated at $350.
Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM on 2/15, unknown suspect(s) smashed
through the passenger side window of a vehicle that was parked on
Stevens Creek Boulevard and took a laptop bag that contained an iPod,
camera, and a cellular phone. The taken items had a total approximate
value of $1,395.
