Disturbing the Peace - Woodbury Drive
At 4:15 PMon 12/26, deputies responded to a call of a disturbance in
the 21000 block of Woodbury Drive. Subsequent investigation revealed
a parked vehicle's alarm was activating nonstop for two days. The
vehicle was towed.
Robbery - Homestead Road
At 7:30 PM on 12/22, the suspect took a wallet and cell phone from
the victim in the parking lot of Homestead Square on Homestead Road.
The wallet contained cash and credit cards for a total loss of about
$450. The suspect fled and is at large.
Vehicle Burglary - De Anza Boulevard
Between 10:05 PM and 10:30 PM on 12/22, unknown suspect(s) broke
through the driver's window of a vehicle parked at BJ's restaurant
on De Anza Boulevard. The suspect(s) took a purse containing a
wallet and credit cards for a total loss of about $107.
Stolen Vehicle - De Anza Boulevard
Between 5:00 PM and 11:30 PM on 12/22, unknown suspect(s) stole a
vehicle parked at BJ's restaurant on De Anza Boulevard. The vehicle
had an unknown value.
No Motor Carrier Permit/Unlicensed Driver/Overweight Truck/No
Insurance/Faulty Brakes/Defective Tires - De Anza Boulevard
At 10:00 AM on 12/24, deputies stopped a motorist at De Anza
Boulevard and Highway 280 for a traffic violation. Subsequent
investigation revealed the driver was unlicensed, did not have a
carrier permit or insurance, and drove the commercial vehicle
overweight and with faulty brakes and defective tires. The suspect
was cited and released.
Discharge BB Gun/Vandalism - Wheaton Avenue and Blaney Avenue
At 3:45 PM on 12/25, deputies responded to a call of a passenger in
a vehicle shooting a BB gun at a stop sign at Wheaton Avenue and
Blaney Avenue. Deputies stopped the suspect. The suspect was cited
and released to his parents. The total amount of damage was about
$200.
Grand Theft - Wolfe Road
Between 7:30 PM and 8:15 PM on 12/19, unknown suspect(s) entered an
unlocked vehicle parked at Sears on Wolfe Road. The suspect(s) took
a laptop worth about $700.
Petty Theft - Wolfe Road
Between 4:30 PM and 5:40 PM on 12/26, unknown suspect(s) entered an
unlocked vehicle parked at JC Penny's on Wolfe Road. The suspect(s)
took a purse containing a wallet with credit cards and cash for a
total loss of about $280.
Animals Running at Large/Animal Bite - McClellan Road
At 2:56 PM 12/23, two dogs were off leash and running at large at
Lincoln Elementary School on McClellan Road. One of the dogs bit the
victim. Animal Control quarantined the dog. The dog's owner was
cited and released.
Injury Hit and Run Collision/Public Intoxication - Foothill
Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 11:30 AM on 12/24, deputies stopped at the scene of an accident
at Foothill Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard. Subsequent
investigation revealed that a passenger was unable to care for
herself due to being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
The passenger was arrested and booked into Main Jail. The driver
fled on foot and is at large.
Residential Burglary - Woodlark Way
Between 5:15 AM and 10:30 AM on 12/24, unknown suspect(s) entered a
residence in the 700 block of Woodlark Way using an unknown method.
The suspect(s) took an iPhone and assorted items for a total loss of
about $500.
Vehicle Burglary - Squirewood Way
Between 4:00 PM on 12/25 and 4:51 AM on 12/26, unknown suspect(s)
broke through the driver's window of a vehicle in the 7000 block of
Squirewood Way. The suspect(s) took a GPS unit and cash for a total
loss of about $173.
Vehicle Burglary - Poppy Way
Between 10:00 PM on 12/25 and 7:00 AM on 12/26, unknown suspect(s)
broke through the driver's window of a vehicle in the 1000 block of
Poppy Way. The suspect(s) took assorted tools for a total loss of
about $1030.
Counterfeit Currency - McClellan Road
Between 12/12 and 12/26, the victim reported he received two
counterfeit ten dollar bills from the 7-11 store on McClellan Road.
The victim attempted to reuse the bills and discovered they were
counterfeit. The suspect is at large.
Vandalism - McClellan Road
Between 11:00 AM on 12/25 and 9:00 AM on 12/26, unknown suspect(s)
broke the rear window of a vehicle in the 7000 block of McClellan
Road. The total amount of damage was about $200.
Battery - McClellan Road
At 11:00 AM on 12/27, the suspect fought with the victim in the
22000 block of McClellan Road. The victim knew the suspect. The
suspect was cited and released.
Counterfeit Currency - Shannon Court
At 6:20 PM on 12/28, the suspect gave two counterfeit twenty dollar
bills to the victim in the 21000 block of Shannon Court. The victim
attempted to reuse the bills and discovered they were counterfeit.
The suspect is at large.
Vehicle Burglary - Blaney Avenue
Between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM on 12/25, unknown suspect(s) broke
through the passenger window of a vehicle in the 18000 block of
Blaney Avenue. The suspect(s) took a bag containing two cell phones
and cash for a total loss of about $100.
Residential Burglary - Judy Avenue
Between 1:30 PM on 12/24 and 3:30 PM on 12/26, unknown suspect(s)
entered a residence in the 10000 block of Judy Avenue through an
open rear window. The suspect(s) took a video game system, laptop,
stereo and cell phone for a total loss of about $1910.
False Checks - Medicus Court
On 12/2, the suspect sent a check to the victim for $3200 to place a
deposit on a room for rent in the 18000 block of Medicus Court. The
victim cashed the check and took $600 for the deposit and sent $2400
back to the suspect by Western Union to an unknown location. The
original check was false.
Check Fraud/Possession of Stolen Property - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 2:00 PM on 12/27, the suspect attempted to cash a forged check at
Bank of America on Stevens Creek Boulevard for about $2987. The bank
blocked the transaction. The victim lives in Walnut Creek. The
suspect was arrested and booked into Main Jail.
Annoying Phone Call - Miller Avenue
At 5:15 PM on 12/27, an unknown suspect made an annoying call to the
victim in the 900 block of Miller Avenue. The suspect is at large.
