There has been an increase of vehicle burglaries during the past few
months. Please do not leave your portable GPS units, power cords, or
GPS holders in view if you are not with your vehicle. Sunglasses, MP3
players, back packs, etc...need to be out of sight. REMEMBER TO LOCK
YOUR VEHICLES, and be mindful of where you are parking your vehicle.

CUPERTINO WEEKLY SUMMARY 4/14/2008 - 4/20/2008

BEAT AREA C1
Vandalism - Dos Palos Court
Between 8:00 AM on 4/16 and 8:00 AM on 4/17, unknown suspect(s) broke
the rear window of a vehicle parked on Dos Palos Court. The total
amount of the damage was unknown.

Driving out of Truck Route/Overweight Truck/Load Not Covered/Expired
Registration/Tire Overweight/No Weight Stickers/Brakes Air Loss -
Stevens Creek Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard
At 10:35 AM on 4/18, deputies stopped a motorist near Stevens Creek
Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard for a traffic violation. Subsequent
investigation revealed the driver was driving out of a truck route
with an overweight truck, the load was not covered, it had expired
registration, it was overweight for the tires, had no weight stickers
and the brakes had air loss. The driver was cited and released.

Vandalism - Franco Court
At 1:24 AM on 4/14, unknown suspect(s) broke the tool box door on a
vehicle parked on Franco Court. The amount of the damage was about
$1000.

Assault/Battery - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 6:55 PM on 4/16, the suspect physically fought with the victim at
Hobbes Restaurant on Stevens Creek Boulevard. The suspect fled and is
still at large.

Vandalism - Homestead Road
Between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM on 4/18, unknown suspect(s) spilled paint
on the roof of a vehicle parked on Homestead Road. The total amount
of the damage was unknown.

Vandalism - Stelling Road
Between 6:00 PM on 4/15 and 8:00 PM on 4/18, unknown suspect(s)
slashed both rear tires of a vehicle parked on Stelling Road. The
total amount of the damage was about $120.

Petty Theft - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 3:00 PM and 3:15 PM on 4/19, unknown suspect(s) took a wallet
containing a checkbook, California Driver's license, credit cards and
a California Identification Card from the back of the victim's
wheelchair at Whole Foods on Stevens Creek Boulevard.

Vehicle Burglary - Wolfe Road
Between 6:01 PM and 9:59 PM on 4/14, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the driver's window of a vehicle that was parked at Cupertino Square
on Wolfe Road. The suspect(s) took a GPS unit, a purse and a digital
camera for an unknown amount.

Vandalism - Wolfe Road
Between 9:50 PM and 11:20 PM on 4/18, unknown suspect(s) slashed the
passenger side tires of a vehicle parked on Wolfe Road. The total
amount of the damage was about $300.

Grand Theft - El Prado Way
Between 6:00 PM on 4/17 and 10:30 AM on 4/18, unknown suspect(s)
entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked on El Prado Way. The
suspect(s) took the vehicle's stereo for a total loss of about $500.

Petty Theft - El Prado Way
Between 8:00 PM on 4/17 and 8:00 AM on 4/18, unknown suspect(s)
entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked on El Prado Way. The
suspect(s) took two cell phones, CD's and cash for a total value of
about $221.

Petty Theft - Woodridge Court
Between 8:00 AM on 4/12 and 9:00 AM on 4/19, unknown suspect(s)
entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Woodridge Court. The
suspect(s) took a gift card for a total value of about $200.

Vandalism - Stocklmeir Court
Between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM on 4/14, unknown suspect(s) damaged a
sprinkler causing flooding on Stocklmeir Court. The amount of the
damage was about $100.

Vandalism - Janice Avenue
Between 8:30 PM on 4/15 and 7:30 AM on 4/16, unknown suspect(s) broke
the driver's window of a vehicle parked on Janice Avenue. The total
amount of the damage was about $200.

Vandalism - Santa Paula Avenue
Between 3:00 PM on 4/16 and 6:45 AM on 4/17, unknown suspect(s) broke
the driver's side window of a vehicle parked on Santa Paula Avenue.
The total amount of the damage was about $200.

Vandalism - Castleton Street
Between 5:30 PM on 4/16 and 2:30 AM on 4/17, unknown suspect(s) broke
the rear hatch window and two right rear windows of a vehicle parked
on Castleton Street. The total amount of the damage was about $1500.

Vandalism - Rock Spring Court
Between 8:00 PM on 4/16 and 8:30 AM on 4/17, unknown suspect(s) broke
the driver's side window of a vehicle parked on Rock Spring Court.
The total amount of the damage was about $200.

Vandalism - Forest Spring Court
Between 4:00 PM on 4/16 and 8:45 AM on 4/17, unknown suspect(s) broke
the driver's side window of a vehicle parked on Forest Spring Court.
The total amount of the damage was about $250.


BEAT AREA C9
Vehicle Burglary - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 5:30 PM and 6:23 PM on 4/14, unknown suspect(s) broke through
the passenger window of a vehicle that was parked on Stevens Creek
Boulevard. The suspect(s) took a laptop bag containing a laptop for a
total loss of about $1700.

Vandalism - Stevens Creek Boulevard
Between 12:00 AM and 7:00 AM on 4/16, unknown suspect(s) spray
painted a wall in a parking garage at Verona Homes on Stevens Creek
Boulevard. The total amount of the damage was about $150.

Robbery - Stevens Creek Boulevard
At 12:10 PM on 4/19, two suspects entered Citibank on Stevens Creek
Boulevard and demanded money. The total amount of the loss was about
$6128. The two subjects fled the area and are still at large.
