Mark Andrew Gadsby of Foster City died on October 29, 2009 at the age of 40. A
graduate of Serra High School and San Francisco State University, he leaves
behind his parents, Greg and Ann Gadsby, Manuel and Ursula Esteves and family of
San Mateo and Tom and Jo Pearson and family of Liverpool, England. A Memorial
Mass will be held at 11:30am on Friday November 13, 2009 at St. Luke Catholic

Maria D. Demelo Resident of Foster City Passed away on June 28, 2009 at the age
of 91. Dearly beloved wife of 70 years to the late Manuel F. Demelo (2002).
Maria is survived by her 4 daughters, 7 sons, 29 grandchildren, 16
great-grand-children and many other relatives also survive her. Maria was
pre-deceased by 1 daughter and 1 son. Born in Furnas, San Miguel, Azores, Maria
loved life and music, dancing, having a great time, crocheting, sewing, design,
good food and sweets. Most of all her greatest passion in life was that she
lived for her family. Friends may visit Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 6:00 to
8:00 pm and attend a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at Crippen & Flynn Woodside
Chapel, 400 Woodside Rd. Redwood City. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday,
July 2, 2009 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 300 Fulton St., Redwood
City. Burial will follow to Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto. Crippen &

Peggy Madison Cotter April 24, 1951 - June 24, 2009 Peggy died at home in Foster
City after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by son Greg, daughter
Nancy, husband Barry, father Walter and brother Patrick. She will be missed by
her many friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held at MCC Church in
San Mateo, July 12 at 3p.m.
