Manford "Mac" Claud McCown, Feb. 8, 1914 – Sept. 2, 2008

Mac passed away Sept. 2, 2008, in Fresno at the age of 94.

Visitation for Manford "Mac" McCown, of Fresno, formerly of Ventura, will be held at Yost and Webb Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, followed by a graveside service at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba, Calif., at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008. Mac is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Ginny McCown of Port Hueneme, Debbi Miner of Wisconsin; three sisters, Vida Grove of Alpine, Angie Wilson of La Mesa, Ila Rhea Howe of Madera; and grandchildren, Denelle and husband Steven Canadian, and Kyle Miner. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Beshears.
