Shelby Miller, 24, died suddenly on Friday, January 30, 2009 at her home in Acton, CA.
Shelby was born on June 14, 1984 in Glendale, CA. She has been a resident of the Santa Clarita Valley since 1995, graduated High Desert Junior High in 1998 and Hart High school in 2002. Shelby had a passion for fashion and make-up. She dreamed of being in the fashion industry. She also had a heart for helping those less fortunate than her.
Shelby is survived by her parents, Charles and Beverly Miller; her brother, Justin; her sister, Cari and her grandfather, Roger E. Cox.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 5p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn in Glendale. Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Locks of Love; forms will be provided at the service or you may visit www.locksoflove.org and fill out dedication information on the form.
Shelby's family wrote, "She will be truly missed by all who knew her."
