Richard Alan Dennison 1959 - 2008 Richard was born December 6, 1959 and passed
away on September 1, 2008. Richard was a member of the Long Beach Police
Department, gradua ting from Class # 75 in April 2000. Shortly thereafter, he
was diagnosed with leukemia. Richard fought a courageous battle for nearly eight
years. He is survived by his wife, Debra; daughter, Lynsey; son, Rick; brothers,
Ray and Jim; sister, Gail; and many other family and friends who loved him
dearly. Viewing will be held at Luyben Family Mortuary, 5161 East Arbor Rd, Long
Beach on Monday, September 8, 2008 from 3pm-7pm. Funeral services will be held
at Seacoast Grace Church, 5100 Cerritos Ave., Cypress on Tuesday, September 9,
2008 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests friends and family honor
Richard's memory by donating blood to their local blood bank, registering as a
donor for stem/bone marrow donation through the National Marrow Donation
Program, or donating to the Long Beach Police Officers Association Widows and
