JOANNA K PADLO NOV 1964 ~ MAR 2009 Joanna Padlo, 44, of Modesto died suddenly at
her home on Friday. She was born in Vallejo, Calif. to Don and Carolyn ''Lynn''
Padlo in 1964. Joanna lived in Modesto attending John Sutter School, and then
moved to Turlock attending Chatom School and Turlock High School. She graduated
from California State University, Stanislaus with a degree in psychology. Joanna
was active in middle school and high school choir, volleyball and basketball.
She loved music, especially singing and playing the keyboard. Being a
self-trained singer, she sang from an early age and performed publicly both as a
keyboard player and a singer. Joanna joined several local bands in the past
ranging from country, Top 40, and Big Band. She also sang in local churches. She
and her late husband produced a CD titled ''JOANNA'' with her original songs. It
played on FM 102.3 and also in Indonesia in the 1990s. She will be missed by her
loving family and friends. Joanna is survived by her mother, Carolyn Lynn''
Padlo of Modesto; brothers, Andrew (Elena) Padlo of San Francisco and Edward
(Kathleen) of Turlock; aunts, Katherine Roudebush, Phyllis Hoard and Joan
Montague; uncles, Jim (Sharon) Hoard, Keith (Coleen) Padlo, Retha Padlo, Roy
Montague and Gilbert Hunt; cousins,Terry Sauriol, Greg Montague, Kristina
Hacker, Christina Carey, Brian Hoard, Danielle Frisbee, Jon Hoard, Laura Martin,
Becky Stein, Kerrie Fullen, Kevin Padlo and Jeff Padlo; nieces, Anna
Padlo-Bukareva, Elicia Padlo, Kaylyn Padlo; and nephews, Zachary Padlo-Bukareva,
Matthew Padlo and Justin Padlo. Joanna is preceded in death by her husband, Luke
Arsyad; father, Donald Padlo; and grandparents, Louis and Helen Padlo and Al and
Margaret Hoard. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
