DELANDER CHARLES HILL ''DALE'' MAR 9, 1958 - JAN 29, 2009 Age 50, passed away in Modesto, CA. Dale was born in Oakland, CA, moved to Modesto December 1987 as a U.S. Postal Carrier. He was previously a carrier for approximately two years in San Leandro, CA. Dale served in our Armed Forces and will be laid to rest at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Gustine, CA. He is survived by his mother, Ellsie Marie Pigrum of Oakland, CA; sisters, Casandra Hill of Concord, CA, and Benita Pigrum of Tracy, CA; and his pride and joy, his nephew, William Joseph Pigrum (Dale had no children of his own), also of Tracy. He was preceded in death by his father, David Otis Delander of Arkadelphia, AR. Services will be held on Fri., Feb. 6th at 11:00 a.m. at CP Bannon Mortuary, 6800 International Blvd., Oakland, CA. A Memorial Service will be held on Sun., Feb. 8th at 3:30 p.m. at Shelter Cove Community Church, 4242 Coffee Rd., Modesto, CA.
