Violet Rose (Alvis) Bell
1956 - 2009
Violet Rose (Alvis) Bell, passed on February 21, 2009 at Doctors Medical Hospital in Modesto, Ca.
Violet was born and lived in Merced, Ca for 52 years. She worked at Avalon (Hylond) Convalescent, as a CNA for 18 years, her passion was helping people, there was no other way. In her eyes, she knew no strangers, everyone was family to her. She loved many. She will be missed. Violet loved baseball, wathcing football. She had a love for the small things in life, as small as frogs. And if you knew Violet you would know.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Rosalie Slate, A sister Brenda J. (Tate) Brown. Survived by one brother Jerry D. Slate, One sister Glenda D. Heriford, A Husband Jerry Bell of Merced, Two sons Billy D Alvis, Loyd R Alvis, both of Merced, One Grandson Tobey D Alvis. Also two nieces, three nephews, and twelve great nieces and newphews. And many more family and friends from near to far that loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held, March 7, @ 10:00 am American Legion Hall, Le Grand, Ca.
