Obituaries
JAMIE ANN DIEGO Age 42, of Moreno Valley, CA, was born 5/11/69 and passed away 12/27/11. She had been a resident of So. Calif. most of her adult life, but spent her childhood in N. Calif. Jamie is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Walker, of Texas as well as many friends who cared for her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Bonomini. She will be missed by those who loved & cared for her.

Samuel
Frederick Clair, age 91, of Needles, Calif., passed away peacefully at
home on Friday, December 16, 2011. Sam was born on February 1, 1920 in
Barberton, Ohio. He was a member of the 77th Infantry Division during
World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. After returning from the
war he began farming in Hanoverton Township, Ohio. In 1957 Sam moved his
family to San Diego, Calif. and worked for General Dynamics and was a
sergeant on the San Diego Police Department Reserves. Sam accepted a
position with the State of California Department of Employment, Farm
Labor Service in 1961 where he advanced to District Manager. He retired
from state service in 1982. Sam relocated to Needles, Calif. in 1990 and
became a member of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department's
Colorado River Station Citizens Patrol and attained the position of
Commander.
Sam was preceded in death by one daughter, Freda Boecker; and two sons, Frederick and Jack Clair.
He
is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary L. Clair; children , Blaine
Clair, Rogers, Ohio; Marilyn Price, Moreno Valley, California; Janet
Roberts, Camarillo, California; Stanley Clair, Henderson, Nevada;
Beatrice Richardson and Larry Clair, Fort Mohave, Arizona; additionally
he had 22 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great
grandchildren.
Those wishing to attend, viewing will be held from
4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Memorial
Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 22, 2011, (all times
Pacific), at Dimond and Sons Needles
Mortuary, Third and "E" Streets, Needles, Calif. Burial to follow at Needles Riverview Cemetery.

HARRIS CHERRY APRIL 8, 1933 - NOVEMBER 17, 2011 78 years old,
Transition 11/17/11 at 2:15 pm at Kaiser Permanente Moreno Valley
Hospital in Moreno Valley, Ca. Mommie was born on April 8, 1933 in Pine
Bluff, ARK. She was the 7th and 8th of 12 children. Seventh girl and
eighth child of Viessa and Edgar Harris. Mom met then married my dad
Chief Bill Cherry December 31st, 1956 in Crown Point, Indiana. Mom gave
birth to 5 daughters; two have already passed on(Daphne and Yolanda)and
she is with them now in heaven. Mom died from progressive Sarcidosis and
Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mom is survived by her husband of 54 years, Chief
Bill Cherry, daughters Alexez, Melloni and Ambre'. Three sons in law
Donald Combs, William Kent and Micheal Osborne. Three grandchildren
Chioke Woolfork, Hashimo Kieta and Maiya Osborne and three
great-grandchildren twins Kimoni and Kionne Kieta and sister Chloe
Kieta. A multitude of family and friends who love her dearly who will
miss her immensely. Your children will miss your Mommy hands. See you
later buckoo. Service will be held Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 2pm at
Miller Jones Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd. Moreno Valley, CA.
