Derrell Phillip Ian Woods July 11, 1983 - Aug 27, 2008 Resident of Pittsburg, CA. Born in Oakland, CA, to Stacey Harris and Wardell Woods, Derrell was a loving son, father and loyal friend, who being mature for his 25 years lived life as a daily adventure. He attended and later worked for the Oakland Public Schools. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents; a son Derrell Phillip Ian Woods, Jr.; three stepdaughters, Brianna, Andrenae and Kamaya; his fiancée Kimberly Winburn; grandparents George and Gloria Harris; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 9am - 7pm, with a Quiet Hour with the family in attendance 5pm - 7pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 4647 International Blvd, Oakland, CA, where the Funeral Services will also be held on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 11am. He will be laid to rest at Rolling Hills Cemetery. The family wishes to express gratitude and thanks for condolences already received.
