When I hadn't received a response to my email from Jeff, I googled his name and received the sad news. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jeff. I worked for a short time with Jeff and wanted to share what a wonderful person he was to me and how much he will be missed. He was the most optimistic, fun, witty, and most thoughtful person with whom I have worked. He turned a poor situation into a manageable -- even fun one with his personality and humor. He was a great mentor to me. I hope you find comfort in the warmth, thoughtfulness, and enthusiasm he brought to other people's lives. He was one in a million kind of friend. Cherish the memories, as I will too.
