Danny Rogers, born March 11, 1953, in Oxnard, ascended into Heaven, Aug. 19,
2008.
Danny rededicated his life to the Lord six months ago and was happy serving
our Lord once again as he did when he was an altar boy.
Danny was a painter in the construction business with his father. He worked
in Ventura County for 35 years and was well-liked by many in the industry.
Danny will be remembered for his quick wit, his love of friends and family.
He enjoyed a good barbecue surrounded by those he loved so dearly.
He will be forever loved and missed by his children, Danny Jr., Keith, Tanya,
Ashley, Sandra and Cherish; father, Harold and stepmother, Willie; brothers,
Richard, Gary, and John; sister, Kelly; and 11 grandchildren; and longtime
companion, Marie.
Evening service is planned for 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, with a viewing from 5
to 9 p.m., at Camino del Sol Funeral Home, 200 North C St., Oxnard. A graveside
will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park,
Ventura.
Camino del Sol Memorial Center & Funeral Home, a Heritage provider, 200
North C St., Oxnard, is assisting the family with arrangements, 483-3443.
