84 of Pomona passed away in his home on Friday October 30 after
a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty Colvin and two
daughters, Carol Reidy of Yorba Linda and Caren Johnson of Victorville; three
grandsons David Reidy, Franklin Johnson and Christopher Johnson. No services
will be held.

Lotus Dill, age 93, passed away on October 1, 2009 in Pomona,
CA with family at her side. Lotus was born on June 6, 1916 in Claremont, CA. to
Stella and George Bradshaw. Lotus is survive d by her daughters, Jean
(Stranigan) McKendrick of Draper, Utah, Jayne Dill of Pomona, CA. and her
son-in-law, Leon McKendrick also of Draper. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Fred Dill. Lotus is a 1934 graduate of Bonita High School in La Verne.
During World War II she worked for the government at the Japanese internment
camp, now the Fairplex. During the late 40's and early 50's she worked at the
San Dimas Lemon Assn. She he also taught Sunday school at the First Baptist
Church, Pomona. Lotus worked in the attendance office at Bonita High School
during the late 50's and early 60's. She then worked in the administrative
offices of the Claremont Unified School District. Lotus was Treasurer of the
Pomona Tile Federal Credit Union until her retirement. Lotus had a great sense
of humor and deeply loved her daughters, son-in laws, nieces and nephews. Her
passion for shopping and travel took her all over the United States and the
world. She also developed a love for trains, planes and cruise ships as her
passports filled with the world's travel stamps. Visitation will be held from 4
to 8 PM on 10/5/09 at Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona. Graveside services will be
held at 10 AM, October 6, 2009 at the Pomona Cemetery.

55, of Ontario passed away on September 12, 2009 in Pomona. He was born July 14,
1954 in Pomona and has lived in Ontario for 30 years. He worked as a police
officer for 29 years and was a member of the AOPA, NRA, PHPA, and Society of
American Magicians. Randy's hobbies included flying helicopters, riding his
Harley, instructor trainer for the American Red Cross, teaching for the San
Gabriel Valley Law Enforcement Explorer Academy. Randy is survived by his wife,
Cindy Phillips of 35 years, daughter Melissa Souza, son-in-law Christopher
Souza, parents Jack & Marilyn Phillips, mother-in-law Ida Kepler, sister
Lisa McCutcheon, sister-in-law Shelley Messina, brother Jeff Phillips,
brother-in-laws Dennis McCutcheon, Tom Messina, Rick Kepler and many nieces
& nephews. Memorial Services were held on September 17, 2009 at Crosspoint
Church in Chino, CA. Donations can be made to the Riverside County Red Cross,
