RIVERSIDE WILLIAM RAYMAN LOWE Age 88, lifetime resident of Riverside, CA, passed
away 28 October 2009 due to respiratory failure. William was born 17 January
1921 in Tecumseh, OK. He worked for Food Machinery Corp from 1946-50; U.S.
Postal Service, U.C.R. from 1950-1975; retiring from Postal Service, U.C.R. He
served in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1939-46, earning the rank of Corporal. He
graduated from Riverside Poly High School Class of 1939. William was a member of
American Legion - American Ex-POW'S; American Defender of Bataan and Corregidor;
member of St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, Riverside, CA. William is
survived by his wife, Marguerite Lowe of Riverside, CA; daughters, Maggie Lowe
Tennesen of Lomita, CA and Christine L. Hurd of Milpitas, CA; sons, Howard Lowe
of Vallecito, CA, Bill Lowe of Corona, CA, Francis Lowe of Biloxi, Mississippi
and John Lowe of Riverside, CA; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Rosary on 1 November, 7pm at Preston & Simons Mortuary Chapel. Mass on 2
November, 9am at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church with private burial at

BARBARA ELLEN LECH Age 81, resident of Riverside, CA for 57 years, passed away
Sept. 30, 2009 at Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside, CA. Barbara was born
May 28, 1928 in Phoenix, AZ. She worked in banking at Bank of America, downtown
Riverside from 1953-1963 and was a member of the PTA and Shamrock Investment
Club. Barbara is survived by her husband, Walter F. Lech of Riverside; daughter,
Liann Lech of Austin, TX; son Steve Lech, daughter-in-law Tracy Lech and
granddaughter Katie Lech, all of Riverside. She was preceded in death by her
father, Raymond J. McClanahan; mother Barbara McClanahan (neé Kilbourne);
half-sisters, Helen, Alice and Mary Esther McClanahan. Funeral Service Monday,

BILLIE E. SPENCER Passed away September 22, 2009 in Riverside, California at the
age of 88 years. Billie was born in Garwin, Iowa to Howard and Amy (Moore)
Fearing. She has lived in Riverside for 47 years. Billie and her husband,
Hobbie, owned The Riverside Music Center, giving music lessons for many years.
She was an avid golfer, a life member at Paradise Knowles Country Club, a member
of the Eastern Star and P.E.O. A life long member of the First United Methodist
Church. Mrs. Spencer is survived by her loving sons, Peter Spencer and wife
JoAnn of Richmond, CA and Steven Spencer and wife Saida of Riverside, CA.
Devoted grandmother of Shannon Spencer of Los Angeles, CA and Jeffrey Spencer of
Anchorage, Alaska. Dear sister of Jackie Watters of Riverside, CA. She was
preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hobbie Spencer, in 2002 and sister,
Rae Gene Robbins of Lone Tree, IA. Memorial Services will be celebrated Friday,
September 25, 2009 at 11am in the First United Methodist Church, 4845 Brockton
Ave., Riverside, CA, 92504 with inurnment in Riverside National Cemetery with
