Marion Louise Stokley June 14, 1921 - June 12, 2008 Resident of San Bruno Passed away on June 12, 2008 in San Bruno. She was 86 years old. Marion was a proud third generation native San Franciscan. She was the daughter of Emma (Guenther) and Alvin H. Cobleigh. She had one older brother, Alvin C. Cobleigh (deceased). She was preceded in death by her dearly beloved husband, Carl Edward Stokley and stepson, Marvin Dale Stokley. She is survived by step-grandchildren, Thomas Edward Stokley, Sonja Elizabeth and Shannon Kimberly. She is also survived by nieces, Sandra Lynn Fee of San Leandro and Joyce Eleanor Fortune of Shingle Springs, CA, along with many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. Marion graduated from Balboa High School in SF. She worked many years for Lipton Tea and retired from the State of California, Department of Transportation where she did accounting. She was a very intelligent lady, who could discuss a variety of subjects. She loved the environment, especially California, and belonged to several nature organizations. She was an avid reader, loved good food and a day of shopping. She would always be there for both friends and family. We will miss her dearly. Marion requested no services. Just keep her forever in your heart.
