Police Blotter (Crime Report)
Lingering hoodlum: Nine people reportedly jumped on a caller’s car and
broke all the windows, a caller reported at 10:54 a.m. Dec. 22 from the 200 block of N. Eldorado Street. The caller said the suspects were still loitering
nearby. The main suspect was
reportedly wearing a cap and white jacket.
Don’t drool: A store employee called, saying that a
homeless person had a bottle of vodka on the table next to him and had passed
out at 1:33 p.m. Dec. 24 from 200
E. 3rd Ave.
Come out, come out: A caller reported that someone had
thrown rocks at his brown van at 5:59 p.m.
Dec. 23 from 2900 S. Norfolk St.
The caller said he would be waiting for the suspect in the parking lot. He has
possible information on the suspect.
Apartment feud: An apartment tenant reported that his blue
’84 Honda Prelude had its front and rear windshields smashed
with a tree branch at 9:28 a.m. Dec.
23 from the 100 block of Santa Barbara Avenue.
He suspects another tenant because he had complained to the landlord the night
before about loud music coming from the neighbor’s apartment.
A big pane: At 4:27 p.m.
Dec. 24 a caller reported that a male subject believed to be Polynesian had
broken all the windows at the home at 1400 E. Third
Ave.
Hit-and-run: A party called police at 9:19 p.m. Dec. 24 from the 1300 block of Palos
Verdes Drive stating that he had hit a parked car on Saturday night and
left the scene. He stated that he had a glass of wine at 2 p.m. and was really tired and had side-swiped the car.
Fisticuffs: A caller reported hearing sounds of people
yelling and pushing each other into vehicles at 1:22
p.m. Dec. 25 at 800 Ada St.
Where’s Fluffy? A caller reported at 8:10 p.m. Dec. 25 that a Pomeranian was stolen from an
unlocked vehicle parked at 2900 Monterey St.
between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.
