Oct. 20 is the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 4 election in San Mateo County. To complete the Voter Registration form on-line, click here . You may register to vote if you meet all of the following requirements:
    • Citizen of the United States
    • Resident of California
    • At least 18 years of age on or before election day
    • Not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony.
If you move, change your name, or change your political party affiliation, you will need to
re-register.

Measure Q Commercial Parking Facilities — County of San Mateo (55% approval required)

    Shall Chapter 5.148 be added to the San Mateo County Ordinance Code, which "would impose a business license tax of eight percent of gross receipts on operators of commercial parking facilities located in the unincorporated area of San Mateo County"?

Measure R Vehicle Rental Business — County of San Mateo (Majority Approval Required)

    Shall Chapter 5.150 be added to the San Mateo County Ordinance Code 1L which would impose a business license tax of two and one-half percent (2.5%) of gross receipts on operators of vehicle rental businesses located in the unincorporated area of San Mateo County?
