Obituary : Loretta Mercedes Mullany

Loretta Mercedes Mullany Resident of San Mateo Loretta Mercedes Mullany, wife of Leo Edmund Mullany, mother of Patricia Mullany Sutton and Steve and John Mullany, sister of Patricia Kennedy and grandmother of Mercy Sutton, passed away at the age of 87 at her home in San Mateo with family at her side Friday, Sep. 18, 2009. A native of Macomb, Ill., and known all her life as "Rusty", she was active in many service organizations and performed in amateur stage productions for charity fund raisers all her life. Rusty is also survived by her son-in-law Mark Sutton, and daughters-in-law Stacy Lewis Mullany and Marilyn Thompson Mullany.
