Obituary : Carol Gallagher

Carol Gallagher Resident of San Mateo Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 26, 2009 in her home at the age of 76. She was the devoted wife of Robert L. Gallagher for 58 years and remarkable mother to Michael, Bob, Connie, Mimi and David and mother in law to Trish, Mary, Carlos, Scott and Morena. She was the daughter of Anthony and Amelia (Curleo) Davis and sister of Bill Davis. She was "Grandma Wonderful" to Janelle, Nick, Matt, Sarah, Julie, Terry, Chris, Coleen, Kayla, Carolyn and Robyn as well as great-grandmother to Skyler. She was a niece, aunt, cousin, mother figure and friend to many, many more. She was a sports enthusiast, a twenty-year breast cancer survivor and the rock of our family. Private family services will be held. If you wish, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure or a charity of choice in her memory.
