Obituaries
Jack was born to Walter and Ellen Miller of Waterloo, Iowa September 5, 1926.
Jack lived in Waterloo until he served in the US Army Air Corps, World War II.
He then earned hi undergraduate and
Dental Degree from the University of Iowa. Jack was recalled to service during the Korean War, where he served an internship as a dental surgeon
at the the US Marine Hospital in San Francisco.
He practiced general
dentistry in San Mateo for over 50 years.
Jack is survived by his
daughter Cheryl Armento Mackin (James), two grandchildren, Nicholas and Meghan
Armento of Georgia and a son Craig Miller (Debra) of Arizona.
He will be
buried in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

services to be held August 25, 2010.

Passed away at home in San Mateo on August 7, 2010.
Beloved wife of the
late Lt. Col. PD Reissner USMC. Loving mother of Wendy Burch, Sherryl Young,
Paul Burch and Robert Young. Cherished grandmother of Kristie, Amanda and
Melissa. Loving daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hall. Also survived by
dear brothers and sisters.
A native of Rhode Island, Lillian loved our
Lord. She retired as an RN, and was a 49er fan that never missed a game. Lillian
loved to travel and take care of her grandkids and animals.
Friends may
visit from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Sneider & Sullivan
& O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 So. El Camino Real in San Mateo. A Funeral
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Funeral
Home. Burial will follow at Skylawn Memorial Park, Highway 92 at Skyline in San
Mateo. In lieu of flowers, donations to In Memory of Lillian Louise Reissner,
Peninsula Humane Society, 12 Airport Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94401 preferred.

Rosa E. Boyle 8/30/1918-7/31/2010 Resident of San Mateo. Rosa lived a rich and
full active life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter Boyle,
retired SFFD Battalion Chief. She is survived by son Jim (Margo) Juarez,
daughter Margot A. Juarez, stepdaughter Donna (Jim) Spangler. Grandchildren Sean
(Robyn) Juarez, Stephanie (Beni) Comma. Step granddaughter Dawn Amenta-Roth.
Great grandchildren Olivia and Payton Juarez, Lily and Max Comma, Brooke and
Christopher Amenta, and Brenden Groves. Sisters Carmela Nova, Isabella
Solorzano, Con Solorzano-Romero. She is also survived by her best friend and
sister-in-law, Conchita Aquino and her children George, Carlos and Analiz
Aquino. Rosa loved to travel, take long walks, and socialize with friends at the
JCC, St. Catherine's, and Woodlake. Her stories about her country of birth and
especially San Estaban, El Salvador, could rival the novelas she loved to watch
on TV. She worked in the shipyards during WWII and eventually retired on her
65th birthday from Schlage Lock. She will be missed by numerous nephews and
nieces. Preceded in death by her sister Ada Josefina Solorzano. The family
expresses great appreciation to her loving caregivers at the Three Sisters in
San Mateo and to Jean who helped care for her. Sincere appreciation to Hospice
of Kaiser, Redwood City. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice Kaiser
Redwood City or your favorite charity. At her request, private services held.
