Daniel Culores Jan. 18, 1918 - May 17, 2009 Resident of San Mateo Daniel
Culores, January 18, 1918 - May 17, 2009 passed away peacefully in San Mateo on
May 17, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Christine Culores, Devoted father of
George Culores, Denise Culores Bowman, Steve Culores, daughter-in-law Pamela
Culores. Cherished grandfather of Jason Bowman, Jimmy Culores, Matthew Culores,
Nicholas Culores, Dear brother of the late John Joanides, Tom Joanides and Angie
Jacobson. Daniel is also survived by many brother and sister in laws, loving
nieces and nephews and many dear friends. A resident of San Mateo for 40 years,
Daniel retired from the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company after a 20
year career and he served honorably as a First Sergeant in the Army during WWII.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Trisagion at 7:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, 194 Millwood Drive at El
Camino Real in Millbrae. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Cross Greek
Orthodox Church in Belmont on Thursday May 21st at 11:00 am with graveside
services immediately following at Greek Orthodox Memorial Park in Colma. The
family would appreciate memorial contributions to Pathways Hospice, 585 N. Mary
