David Joseph Pape Late of Millbrae and San Mateo County resident for 43
years passed away in Burlingame after sudden heart failure on September
5, 2008. Beloved husband of Gail Pape for 24 years. Loving father of
Sarah and Andrew. Devoted son of Margaret Stirling. Dear brother of
Carol Ott; Russell and the late James. Also survived by his cherished
dog Copper. A native of San Francisco, CA, age 52. Commissioner of
Millbrae Lions Club Baseball Program for many years; member of the
founding family of Pape Meats in Millbrae. Loved and admired for his
generosity and caring nature by many members throughout the community.
The Funeral will leave the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, El Camino Real at
194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 9:45
AM for Saint Dunstan's Catholic Church, 1133 Broadway in Millbrae,
where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM and will conclude
after. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, September
10th after 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, with a
Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 PM. His family appreciates donations to
the Millbrae Lions Club, P.O. Box 328, Millbrae, CA 94030-0328.
