William "Bill" Malone William J. Malone passed peacefully at Damenik Home in South San Francisco surrounded by family after an extended illness. He was the loving husband and best friend for fifty one years to Esther; devoted father of Julie of Southern California, Tony and wife, Irene, of Burlingame, and Patrick and wife, Kathy, of Sandy, OR; and cherished grandfather to Nicholas, Will, Callie, Peter and Dylan Malone. A 1955 graduate of Junipero Serra High School, Bill retired as Director of Facilities of the South San Francisco Unified School District. He was a school board member to All Souls, Serra High and the Archdiocese of San Francisco; a member of the YMI Council #32. Bill loved sports and was a diehard SF Giants fan. Friends may visit between 4-6:30pm, Thurs., Aug. 28th Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So.SF where a Vigil Service will be offered at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10am, Fri., Aug. 29th, All Souls Church, Corner of Walnut and Miller Avenues, So.SF. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions may be made in memory of William J.
