Centers recognized as instrumental to Samsung's growth in 2007
Ingram Micro (NYSE: IM) today announced it was named the 2007 Pro AV Distributor of the Year by
Samsung Electronics America for the second year in a row.
According to Samsung's vice president of commercial sales and marketing
Christopher Franey, Ingram Micro was awarded the 2007 Pro AV Distributor of
the Year for its ongoing investment in digital signage and putting in place
programs and offerings that more than doubled its year-over-year sales
revenues with Samsung. Franey also called out Ingram Micro's partner
enablement resources including its dedicated Digital Signage Division and
bi-coastal Solution Centers, which hosted several training events and boot
camps for more than 700 existing and potential Samsung partners throughout
2007.
