Obituary : Lorraine Tucker Print E-mail

Lorraine Tucker passed away on July 5, 2008, in Santa Barbara.

She was born on Dec. 24, 1925, the first child of John Truman Varble and Emma "Sis" Varble of Simi Valley.

Lorraine grew up in Simi Valley, and graduated from Simi High in 1944. She moved to Santa Barbara and spent the remainder of her life there.

Lorraine is survived by her two sons, James O. Johnson and Robert W. Johnson; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at the First United Methodist Church, 305 E. Anapamu St., Santa Barbara.
