Stanford is off to a fast start in its attempt to get back to the NCAA championship game.The No. 2 seed Cardinal routed UC Santa Barbara 74-39 in an opening-round game on Saturday night, getting double-doubles from Pacific-10 Conference Player of the Year Jayne Appel and freshman Nnemkadi Ogwumike.
