For some families, "spring break" means that after a few days, the kids are springing out at each other from behind the furniture, just for something to do. Meanwhile, mom and dad are about to break down.
Most Santa Rosa area schools are out this week, while students at many other Sonoma County and regional schools (as well as Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University) are off next week.
So there'll be a lot of people with plenty of free time, looking for places to go. Planners at museums and other family venues couldn't be happier.
Whether you take advantage of the time off to take the clan to the Exploratorium in San Francisco or the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito, or opt for an outing closer to home, you'll find no shortage of choices.
