EVA FRANCES SCHROFF Entered into rest peacefully at home in
Santa Rosa, CA on September 24, 2009, with her family by her side. Dearly
beloved fifty-one year wife of the late Bernard E. Schroff who passed away in
1992. Loving mother of Ronald B. (Diana) Schroff of Roseville, CA, Sharon M.
(William) Myhre of Rohnert Park, CA, Deborah A. (Jerry) Sullivan of Pacifica, CA
and Stephen J. (Andrea) Schroff of Santa Rosa, CA. Adored grandmother of seven.
Cherished great grandmother of five and great-great grandmother of two. Also
survived by numerous nieces, nephews and host of loving extended family and
friends. A native of San Francisco, CA, age 85 years. Eva is also preceded in
death by her son, Gerald E. Schroff (1997). Eva was a past parishioner of St.
Gabriel's Catholic Church in San Francisco and currently a loyal and dedicated
member of the Cathedral of St. Eugene's in Santa Rosa, CA. She was a member of
the San Francisco Retired Firemen's Wives Club and has been a resident of the
Santa Rosa community for the past thirty-eight years. Family and friends are
invited to meet at the LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL (4321 Sonoma
Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409) at 12:15 P.M. on Friday, October 2, 2009 thence,
to the Cathedral of St. Eugene's (Corner of Farmer's Lane & Montgomery
Drive, Santa Rosa, CA, 95405), where at 1:00 P.M. a Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Santa
Rosa. LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL will provide visitation hours from
11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 1, 2009, where a Vigil Service will
be conducted at 7:00 P.M. in the Main Chapel. As an expression of sympathy,
memorial contributions are suggested to either the
