MOORE, Tolbert Earl "Fred" Born in Wichita Falls, TX on 6-6-25. He passed away in Santa Rosa on 6-22-08 at the age of 83 with his family at his side. Devoted husband for nearly 62 years of the late Ruby Jean "Jeannie" Moore. Loving father of the late Wallace "Wally" Moore (Linda) and Carey Moore-Rubinow (Barry) and three grandchildren, Natalie Moore, Brian Rubinow and Jordan Rubinow. Owners of the Santa Rosa Beauty College for 37 years at 615 Healdsburg Avenue, Santa Rosa. The Santa Rosa Beauty College won the 1967 Award Of Merit for "Design of New Building" as the first Cosmetology School built specifically to be used as a school of Cosmetology. The property now houses The Moore Building, the first mixed use Luxury Apartment Building in Santa Rosa, www.themoorebuilding.com. He is also survived by two Brothers-In-Law, a Sister-In-Law, many Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Great Great Niece and Nephews and a Great Great Great Nephew. Freddie is loved by all, a sweetheart of a guy and known for furthering the careers of many young men and women. He was in the Navy as a Seabee during World War II. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Elks Lodge, supporter of the Doyle Park Little League and the Cub Scouts, also a member of the Santa Rosa Businessman's Club. Freddie and Jeannie loved to Jitterbug and were quite dazzling on the dance floor. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service celebrating his life on Sunday June 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa. The service will be officiated by Pastor Scott La Mar of Santa Rosa. If desired, donations in his honor may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Memorial Hospice of Santa Rosa, or the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, 153 Stony Circle #100, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
