Happy Louise Larson Died peacefully at home on June 10, 2008 after a long illness. Born October 11, 1921 in Oregon, she lived and worked in the State of Washington for several years during the war as a civilian secretary in the military. When the war ended, she relocated to San Francisco where she met and married her husband of 56 years, the late, George W. Larson. She was employed for almost 40 years with the San Francisco Superior Court - the last 20 years as chief calendar clerk. She and George lived in San Francisco until 1987 and then moved to Oakmont in Santa Rosa where she lived until her death, enjoying her many, many friends and the beautiful countryside. She loved to participate in all of her club functions and traveled extensively with these groups. She was well-known for her enthusiasm, kindness and her unusual but appropriate first name. She is survived by her son William and his wife Joan; granddaughter, Susanne and her husband Brian Hunter; granddaughter, Jennifer Larson, and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Lillian Hunter. She is also survived by her brother Manny L. Sund; nephew, Gary; and niece, Yvonne and her husband and Al Wilcox. Celebration of Happy's life will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008, 10AM at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa.
